LGBTQ Spirituality was founded in the year 2020, starting as a simple meetup group aimed at bringing together individuals seeking a supportive spiritual community. Over time, this humble beginning evolved into a more comprehensive holistic community center. Our mission has always been to create a safe space where LGBTQ individuals can explore spirituality without the constraints of traditional religion. Today, we are excited to take our organization to the next level by introducing a variety of new programs and welcoming additional practitioners. These developments are designed to further support and enrich our community, helping individuals connect more deeply with their spiritual selves.

We offer a range of services to support the LGBTQ community, including counseling, advocacy, and community outreach. Our dedicated team of professionals is committed to providing compassionate care and support to all individuals.  The organization offers affordable services and provides sponsorship and scholarships for those in need. 

LGBTQ Spirituality was born from the personal journey of John Feliz. Growing up as a gay individual in a religious environment, John faced rejection and self-loathing fueled by traditional interpretations of religious texts. Through a process of self-discovery and reprogramming, John found a new path. LGBTQ Spirituality aims to provide a safe haven for those seeking to practice spirituality without the constraints of organized religion, fostering a direct and personal relationship with the maker, creator, or universe.  The motto, 'Do your own thing!' encourages everyone to find and live their truth, recognizing their roles as creators and co-creators with God.

John Feliz's journey to becoming a spiritual healer and shaman began at the age of twelve, when he had a profound supernatural experience at a Christian church. Assisting others and feeling their gratitude through prayer, John felt a powerful emotional and spiritual connection. Despite his deep love for God, John struggled with the church's rejection of his homosexuality. As an adult, he embraced Christianity fully, even getting a tattoo of Jesus on the cross with wings on his back to symbolize his commitment. However, the lack of acceptance within the church led John to create LGBTQ Spirituality, a community where LGBTQ individuals can connect with God through spirituality, free from religious constraints. 

As the owner and founder of LGBTQ Spirituality, John Feliz is committed to making spiritual support accessible to everyone.  John offers a range of services, including coaching, mentorship, spiritual healing, tarot and oracle readings. Additionally, deeper therapies such as plant medicine and foreign retreats are available to help individuals make profound connections.
